I really dont like waste.
When the opportunity to build my own dream BBQ came along, I knew that making a long lasting grill would be a crucial part of the plan. That is why I looked at commercial grills that are used in restaurants. A few parrilla grills in the USA stood out for me, like the Grillworks series. This gave me the inspiration to go and develop my own grill that would be long-lasting and stay "clean". With clean I mean no rust and no blackness covering hidden rust. Thats why BRIAR is made with 304 Stainless Steel.
Below are a few photos of my own BBQ charcoal chimneys and other BBQs I regularly see dumped at the kerb. Don't get me wrong, I am all for capitalism and businesses making sales. But when it comes to grilling, I don't want to be a part of that cycle anymore where things rust out and die after less than 5 years.
In my view, if you are willing to pay alot for a good oven or stove in your kitchen, why not spend the same on your grill?
